BIOGRAPHY
From his beginnings as a musician to studying at Berklee College of Music and then the University of Miami, to becoming an integral part of Hall & Oates since joining the duo in 1976, Charlie DeChant has proven to be one of the premier saxophone and keyboard artists the past 40-plus years.

Many of his sax solos, from "I Can't Go For That" to "Maneater," are considered iconic within modern pop music.

A integral part of the Daryl Hall & John Oates band [inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2014] since 1976, he has also performed with such individuals and groups as The Temptations, Mick Jagger, and Tina Turner.
While still touring as a member of the Daryl Hall & John Oates band, Mr. Casual resides in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Sheila, who is author of "The Outside Looking In: My Life Within the Music World." They have been together since meeting in South Florida in the early 1970s, prior to "Mr. Casual" joining Hall & Oates.
